What is the game of Badminton?

History
5th
century BC, the people in china then played a game called ti jian zi.
A direct translation from this word 'ti jian zi' is kicking the shuttle.
Five
centuries later, a game named Battledore and Shuttlecock was
played in china, Japan, India and Greece. This is a game where you use the
Battledore (a paddle) to hit the Shuttlecock back and forth.
In 1873, the Duke of
Beaufort held a lawn party in his country place, Badminton. A game of
Poona was played on that day and became popular among the British
society's elite. The new party sport became known as "the
Badminton game".
In 1877, the Bath Badminton Club was formed and developed
the first official set of rules.
The International Badminton Federation (IBF) was
formed in 1934 with 9 founding members.

Since then, major international
tournaments like the Thomas Cup (Men)and Uber Cup (Women) were
held. Badminton was officially granted Olympic status in the 1992 Barcelona
Games.

Olympic Badminton
Badminton became an Olympic Sport in 1992. It was
a demonstration sport in 1972 and 1988.
Olympic Badminton Qualifying
Players qualify for Olympic competition on the
basis of their world rankings. These rankings are based on scores they receive
in different international events.

events in the Olympics:

Women's Doubles
Mixed Doubles

video 2: the single you are by your self double you are with another person
video 3: there are correct ways to hold a racket properly. there are point 1s and 2s with correct finger placements on the base of the racket.

Video 2)Single player means you play by yourself but self double means you play with other Person
video 3) Hold the racket in your little finger, ring finger and middle finger.
The thumb and index finger only lightly grip the handle.
Avoid the index finger and middle finger tightly pressing against each other.
Video 4)Fault means Loss of Service.A Let means No one is sure whether the shuttle landed in or out.
During the rally, a shuttle from another court was hit onto your court.
The receiver wasn’t ready for the serve, and asks for it to be played again.
score in a singles and Double Game for boys is 15 and for girls is 11.A shuttle not in play means when a 'fault' or 'a let' has Occurred.
